Angels was the eleventh track on Carly Rae Jepsen's unreleased sophomore studio album, Curiosity (2012).
As the Curiosity album was scrapped, Angels was never released and currently remains shelved indefinitely.

Background
Curiosity album
Angels was originally intended to release as part of Jepsen's planned second studio album, Curiosity, exclusively in Canada on February 14th 2012. However, sometime before release, Jepsen's label 604 Records would make the decision to cut the album down into six track extended-play instead.
Angels was one of five tracks to be cut from the record and currently remains unreleased indefinitely.
Live performances
Prior to the announcement of Curiosity in 2012, Angels was premiered live by Jepsen on November 12th 2011 in a performance at Headliners, Nanaimo BC. Jepsen also performed the song an additional time in June 2012 at the Red River Ex in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Currently, these are the only instances where the song has been available to hear in its entirety.
Writing and development
Development for Curiosity
Angels was written during the development of Jepsen's second studio album, Curiosity, based on Tweets made by Jepsen at the time. This appears to be sometime prior to March 2011, as Jepsen posted lyrics from the song during this time.
Alternative lyrics
Another Tweet from Jepsen in April 2011 also suggests that alternative lyrics for the song's verses were 'I believe in angels / dancing in your sunlight', which would ultimately go unused in the final version of the track she performed live.
